In our community there are people that need help and people that want to help, bringing those needs & blessings together is how we offer help in our community.
Help Ministries came out of an outreach committee meeting in Feburary, 1997 at Troutman 1st UMC. In a discussion about what could be done in the community, it was decided that if churches worked together we could provide a lot of help in the Troutman area. Pastors and lay leaders were called and were very receptive. We were in operation by spring of 1997. The organization is a non-profit registered 501 (c) (3) and was established to supplement the individual programs of mission & out-reach in all of the churches involved.
